New study tests best way to deliver Last-Resort antibiotic cocktail

Summary
This study looks at two different methods of giving a combination of two antibiotics (ceftazidime-avibactam and aztreonam) to treat serious infections caused by highly resistant bacteria. The goal is to see if giving them one after the other (sequential) or together (concomitant) works better or has fewer side effects. About 144 adults with infections like pneumonia or bloodstream infections will take part.
