Scientists put popular workouts to the test: which one stresses your body most?

NCT ID NCT07180550

Summary

This study aims to understand how different types of high-intensity workouts immediately affect the body. Researchers will compare popular methods like HIIT (running or cycling) and functional training (circuit-style strength exercises) in healthy, active adults. They will measure heart rate, muscle soreness, fatigue, and oxygen use to see how the body responds to each workout type.
