Which heart valve lets patients exercise better?
NCT ID NCT05603026
Summary
This study aims to compare how two different types of replacement heart valves perform, especially during physical activity. Researchers will enroll 90 patients with severe aortic stenosis who are getting a valve replacement procedure called TAVR. Using special heart scans during exercise, they will measure which valve design allows for better blood flow and heart function one year after surgery.
