New catheter may speed up heart procedure for AF patients
NCT ID NCT07563257
First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026
Summary
This study compares two types of catheters used during a procedure to treat atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat). The goal is to see if a newer catheter can confirm that the treatment worked faster than the current method. About 30 adults with persistent AF or atrial flutter will take part. The study focuses on improving efficiency and accuracy, not on testing a new cure.
