First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study compares two surgical techniques to build up gum tissue where a tooth is missing before placing a dental bridge. One method uses a piece of the patient's own connective tissue, the other uses a collagen material. Researchers will measure volume changes and ask about patient comfort. About 38 adults with a single missing tooth in the lower or back jaw will take part.
