Flu vaccine showdown: which type works best?
NCT ID NCT05479370
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study compared three different flu vaccines: one made using eggs, one using cells, and one using a lab-made protein. The goal was to see which vaccine triggers the strongest antibody response, especially against a tricky flu strain called H3N2. 366 adults who hadn't had a flu shot in the last 6 months took part, and their immune responses were tracked over nearly a year.
