Feeding tube showdown: are expensive new tubes worth it?

This study compared two types of feeding tubes used for long-term nutrition: standard balloon tubes and newer capsule dome tubes. The goal was to see if the more expensive capsule tubes last longer and are more cost-effective. The study planned to enroll adults needing tube feeding for over a year, but was stopped early with only 7 participants.
