Study tests if new eye scanners agree on surgery measurements

NCT ID NCT07500272

Summary

This study aimed to see if two different eye-scanning machines give the same measurements for planning cataract surgery. Researchers tested 94 adults with cataracts, using each device once on the same person. The goal was to check if the machines agree on key eye measurements used to calculate the correct lens power for surgery.
