First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 174 healthy but inactive adults over 60 to see which type of combined physical and mental training works best for improving memory, thinking, and physical fitness. Participants did one of six programs for 3 months, including exercise games, stationary biking, or thinking tasks. The goal was to find the most effective way to keep the brain and body sharp as we age.
