Summary

This study tested two different doses (5 µg and 10 µg) of dexmedetomidine added to standard spinal anesthesia for women having planned C-sections. The goal was to see which dose provides longer pain relief and muscle relaxation without causing more side effects. Sixty healthy mothers participated, and researchers measured how long numbness and muscle block lasted.
