New denture cap may keep false teeth in place better

NCT ID NCT07067190

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests two ways to attach dentures to dental implants in the lower jaw: a traditional bar and a bar with a special cap. 22 adults who have lost all lower teeth will get implants and be randomly assigned to one attachment type. Researchers will measure how well the denture stays in, bone loss around implants, and patient satisfaction over 6 months to find the better option.
