Summary

This study compares two doses of the antibiotic ceftriaxone for adults hospitalized with pneumonia. The goal is to see if a 1-gram daily dose works just as well as a 2-gram daily dose but causes fewer side effects. About 430 participants who are not in the intensive care unit will take part.
