First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study compares two non-invasive breathing support methods for infants under 2 with bronchiolitis in the pediatric ICU. One method uses standard settings, while the other (NAVA) adjusts to the baby's own breathing signals. The goal is to see if NAVA improves comfort and reduces the need for a breathing tube. About 130 infants will participate.
