First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to remove infection from the tip of a tooth root: using a standard rotary bur or a piezoelectric device. Researchers want to see which method leads to better bone healing. About 130 adults who need this surgery will be followed for at least a year with X-rays and CT scans.
