Which blood thinner dose best prevents deadly clots in obesity surgery?

Summary

This study compares two different doses of the blood thinner bemiparin to see which works better at preventing dangerous blood clots after surgery in people with severe obesity (BMI 40 or higher). About 2400 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two doses. The goal is to find the safest and most effective dose to reduce the risk of clots in the legs or lungs after surgery.
