First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study compared three common blood pressure-lowering medications (dexmedetomidine, nicardipine, and labetalol) given during jaw surgery to see which one helps surgeons see better and reduces bleeding. 90 healthy adults having jaw surgery took part. The goal was to find the best option for a clearer surgical field and fewer side effects.
