Summary
This study compared two different ways to take a tissue sample (biopsy) to diagnose a specific type of bile duct cancer where it enters the liver. Researchers enrolled 200 adults with imaging that suggested this cancer. They wanted to see which biopsy method was more accurate, safer, and could better guide treatment decisions.
