New needle angle tested for better back pain relief

NCT ID NCT06283628

Summary

This study compares two different ways to position the needle during a common back pain procedure called radiofrequency ablation. Researchers want to see if a newer, more direct needle placement provides better pain relief than the traditional angled approach. The study will involve 25 adults with chronic low back pain who haven't found relief from standard treatments like medication and physical therapy.
