First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested whether using automatic syringe pumps (smart pumps) instead of manual syringe changes reduces the risk of low blood pressure in ICU patients receiving noradrenalin. About 50 adults in intensive care took part. The goal was to see if automatic relays cause fewer dangerous drops in blood pressure during medication changes.
