First seen Jun 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested three ways to deliver a type of therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for adults with mild to moderate PTSD. Thirty participants were split into groups: standard clinic therapy, clinic therapy plus a web app, or fully online therapy with the app. The goal was to see if adding digital tools helps reduce PTSD symptoms and improve emotional control better than clinic visits alone.
