New hope for bladder cancer: Head-to-Head drug comparison trial launches

Summary
This study compares several FDA-approved drugs for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer that has not responded to standard BCG therapy. About 125 adults will receive either a newer gene therapy (nadofaragene firadenovec) or one of several standard treatments. The goal is to see which drug best prevents the cancer from coming back or spreading.
