5-Day brain zapping trial aims to lift severe depression

Summary

This study tests a new, fast brain stimulation treatment for people with depression that hasn't improved with medication. 78 adults will receive either real or fake stimulation over 5 days, with the goal of easing symptoms. The treatment uses MRI scans to target each person's brain precisely.
