App-Powered health workers challenge doctors in blood pressure battle
NCT ID NCT06444308
Summary
This study is testing whether community health workers, guided by a mobile app and supervised by remote doctors, can manage high blood pressure as effectively as a physician. It involves 460 adults with high blood pressure in rural Guatemala and will last 12-24 months. The goal is to see if this new model of care is a safe and acceptable way to improve blood pressure control in areas with limited access to doctors.
