Community guides tested to ease stress and open doors to mental health care
NCT ID NCT07387146
Summary
This pilot study is testing whether trained community health workers, called 'promotoras,' can help Latinx and Native American adults get better access to mental health services. The goal is to see if this culturally sensitive support can reduce stress and improve well-being. Participants will be randomly assigned to either work with a promotora or receive standard community resources.
