First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether joining a community garden helps adults in low-income areas eat more fruits and vegetables and have better access to healthy food. About 138 people aged 18 to 95 will take part in an 8-week garden program with volunteering, cooking demos, and education. Researchers will compare their eating habits and food access to a group that starts the program later.
