Can better conversations between generations boost happiness?
NCT ID NCT07494071
Summary
This study is testing a new communication training program called 'ReFrame-R' designed to help older adults in Hong Kong improve their relationships with their adult children. The program teaches skills for clearer communication and healthier family roles, with the goal of improving mental well-being for both generations. Researchers will compare 40 participants who receive the training to a control group to see if the program leads to better family interactions and a greater sense of purpose in life.
