New tool aims to sharpen Doctors' bedside manner

Summary

This study will test a new feedback system called Communication Compass to help medical residents improve how they educate and counsel patients. About 120 internal medicine residents will use the tool and receive personalized reports on their communication skills. The goal is to see if this approach can make doctor-patient conversations more effective.
