First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested whether adding cilostazol to the standard statin drug rosuvastatin helps people with chronic leg artery disease (peripheral artery disease) feel better and walk farther. About 260 adults with stable leg symptoms for at least 6 months took either the combo or rosuvastatin alone for 24 weeks. The main goal was to see if the combo improved quality of life and reduced leg pain.
