First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether combining two types of nerve stimulation—one on the brain and one on the spine—can improve arm and hand strength in adults with chronic incomplete spinal cord injury. 24 participants will receive either the combined stimulation plus rehabilitation, or spinal stimulation plus rehabilitation alone, over 12 weeks. The goal is to see if the combo approach leads to better recovery of upper limb function.
