Summary
This study tests a mix of four treatments—immunotherapy, a cancer-killing virus, short-course radiation, and chemotherapy—given before surgery for locally advanced rectal cancer. The goal is to see if this combination can make the cancer disappear completely for at least a year, and help patients avoid major surgery. About 20 adults with a specific type of rectal cancer will take part.
