First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining two drugs—ASTX727 (a pill) and retifanlimab (given through a vein)—can shrink tumors or stop them from growing in people with advanced Merkel cell cancer that no longer responds to standard immunotherapy. About 31 adults will take the drugs for up to 2 years, visiting the clinic every 2 weeks. The main goals are to see if the combination is safe and works better than current options.
