Summary

This study tested a combination of whole-brain radiation and a chemotherapy drug (thiotepa) injected into the spinal fluid for people with solid tumors that spread to the lining of the brain and spinal cord. 58 participants received this treatment along with their regular cancer therapy. The goal was to see if the combination was safe and effective at controlling the disease.
