Scientists track the Body's internal clock to map the path out of coma
NCT ID NCT06245434
Summary
This study aims to better understand how people wake up from a coma after a serious brain injury. Researchers will closely observe 90 patients in intensive care to see if the return of the body's natural daily rhythms is linked to regaining consciousness. The goal is to gather detailed information to help predict recovery and guide future treatments, but this study itself does not test a new therapy.
