Scientists test Triple-Threat attack on spreading colon cancer
NCT ID NCT03290937
Summary
This early-stage study tested a new combination of three drugs for people with advanced colorectal cancer that had spread and stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goals were to find the safest dose of the drug combination and to see if it could shrink tumors. Researchers combined two antibody drugs designed to help the immune system fight cancer with a standard chemotherapy drug.
