New test aims to personalize colon cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07094893
Summary
This trial aims to see if a specific biomarker test can help doctors choose the best first treatment for patients with advanced colon cancer that started on the right side. It will test if patients with a 'high' biomarker result do better when a targeted drug (cetuximab) is added to standard chemotherapy. The study will enroll about 280 patients who meet specific genetic and health criteria.
