What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could help doctors better predict long-term outcomes for colorectal cancer patients by assessing their physical fitness and breathing before treatment.
What could go wrong
This is a small observational study, so it cannot prove cause and effect. The results may not apply to all patients and will need confirmation in larger trials.
