New program aims to close cancer knowledge gap in hispanic communities

Summary

This study evaluates a training program for community specialists to help Hispanic/Latino adults learn about colorectal cancer prevention and genetic testing. About 140 participants from Los Angeles County will take surveys before and after the program to see if their knowledge and healthy habits improve. The goal is to reduce cancer disparities by making information more accessible and culturally relevant.
