Summary
This study tested whether adding an experimental drug called ompenaclid to standard chemotherapy could help control advanced colorectal cancer that had worsened after initial treatment. The trial involved 76 patients with a specific genetic mutation (RAS mutant) in their cancer. Participants received either ompenaclid or a placebo pill along with standard chemotherapy drugs to see if the combination worked better.
