Simple blood test could spot colon cancer early

Summary

This study is testing a new blood test called Delta-HLD to see how well it can detect colorectal cancer in average-risk people aged 45 to 75. About 3,200 participants will give a blood sample before their scheduled screening colonoscopy. The test results will be compared to the colonoscopy findings to measure accuracy.
