Massive 60,000-Person trial tests simpler ways to catch colon cancer early
NCT ID NCT07090291
Summary
This large study aims to find the most effective way to screen average-risk people for colorectal cancer. It will compare three methods: a one-time colonoscopy, yearly stool tests, and a new approach combining yearly stool and blood tests. The main goal is to see if the simpler stool or combo tests can be as good as colonoscopy at preventing deaths from colon cancer over 10 years.
