Which colonoscopy prep do patients prefer? study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07215000
Summary
This study aims to learn which of two FDA-approved bowel preparation methods patients find easier to complete and tolerate before a colonoscopy. About 300 adults scheduled for a colonoscopy will be randomly assigned to use either a standard liquid prep or a newer low-volume tablet prep. Researchers will use surveys to compare completion rates, patient satisfaction, and how well each method cleans the colon for the procedure.
