Could a simple tilt make your colonoscopy quicker and easier?
NCT ID NCT06664762
Summary
This study aimed to find out if lying flat on your back (supine) is better than lying on your left side during a colonoscopy. Researchers compared the two positions in 300 adults to see which one allowed the doctor to complete the exam faster and with fewer complications. The goal was to improve the procedure's quality and patient comfort without adding any extra cost or risk.
