New device probes gut troubles after cancer surgery

Summary
This study aims to understand why some people experience chronic loose stools after surgery for right-sided colon cancer. Researchers will use a novel sampling device to check for bile acid issues and bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine of 20 participants. The goal is to learn how these digestive symptoms affect quality of life and what might be causing them.
