Scientists hunt for early warning signs of colon cancer spread
NCT ID NCT03432806
Summary
This study aims to find new markers in blood and imaging scans that could help doctors better detect colon cancer and predict its likelihood of spreading to the liver. It involves 51 adults who are already scheduled for colon cancer surgery. The research focuses on gathering information to improve future diagnosis and treatment planning, not on testing a new therapy.
