New drug cocktail aims to shrink colon tumors before surgery

NCT ID NCT03026140

Summary

This study is testing whether giving short-term immunotherapy before surgery can help control early-stage colon cancer. Patients receive one of several drug combinations for 6-12 weeks before their tumor is surgically removed. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe, if it shrinks the tumor, and if it helps prevent the cancer from coming back.
