Glowing dye could light up colon cancer for doctors

NCT ID NCT06034197

Summary

This early study is testing a new fluorescent dye called VGT-309 to see if it is safe and can help doctors better see cancerous spots during a colonoscopy. It will involve about 15 adults who already have confirmed colorectal cancer and are scheduled for a standard colonoscopy. The main goals are to check for safety issues and see if the dye makes tumors light up more clearly than normal tissue.
