Summary

This study is testing whether giving chemotherapy before surgery helps more patients with blocked colon cancer complete their full treatment plan. It involves 232 patients whose initial blockage was relieved with a colostomy. The goal is to see if starting chemo before tumor removal increases the number of people who can get the complete recommended sequence of care, which may improve their long-term outlook.
