Summary
This large study tested whether adding a special antibody drug after surgery could help prevent colon cancer from returning. Over 2,100 patients who had their stage II colon cancer surgically removed were randomly assigned to either receive the antibody treatment or just be observed. The goal was to see if the drug, which targets cancer cells, could improve survival and keep patients cancer-free for longer.
