New scaffold aims to rebuild breasts after cancer surgery

Summary
This study tested a special collagen scaffold placed in the breast after cancer removal surgery. The goal was to help the breast keep its shape and volume as it healed. 40 women with early-stage breast cancer took part. The study measured how much breast volume was restored and how satisfied patients were with the results.
