Summary
This study is testing whether taking collagen peptide supplements before and after total knee replacement surgery helps the body heal better. Researchers will enroll 44 adults aged 50-75 with knee osteoarthritis who are scheduled for the surgery. They will compare outcomes like wound healing, knee function, pain, and strength between people taking collagen and those taking a placebo over 24 weeks.
